We are not paper dolls

Why does the world like paper dolls?At work we must conform,be productive,be a number.In our lives everything has a label these days including illness,in society there are no accidents anymore .We must research untill we decide who's fault it was.
In schools the different kids are bullied ,for their skin tone,for their clothes for their accent whatever.
In fashion everyone wants to dress like the famous people ,be as thin as the models.Even if the models are not thin enough they are photoshopped.
I think this pressure to be the same is actually stifling  human evolution.Be different!

  1. Thanks for the comment on the Eeyore costume. It sounds like your cat has an appropriate name.

    The attraction for conformity or variety even happens in the animal kingdom. Some packs of wolves will kill or drive off a wolf of a different/weird color, and yet you still find the odd singleton that is willing to nurse an animal of a different mother, sometimes even a different species. I think there is a gene for liking variety though. I base this on my family where most of my cousins are a mix of two races and we seem to seek out different cultures. It's unfortunate that that gene isn't more prevalent through the human species though, isn't it?
